Introduction... Leeds West Hunslet Salvation Army Band is, like every other Salvation Army Band over the world, a group of dedicated amateur musicians whose aim and objective is to evangelize and to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ in music.
Taken from all walks of life, the members meet weekly to rehearse and to prepare their music so that it can be presented in a way which is enjoyable and inspirational to the listener, and with the hope and prayer that in presenting the music in this way, people will be brought nearer to God.
Our whole reason for being in existence is summarized in our Mission Statement, which is shown on our Home Page, and it is the prayer of each member of that Band that our music will indeed bless, encourage, help and inspire all who hear it, and that we will be able to assist in bringing souls to Christ through our dedicated efforts.
Rehearsals are held at our Hall in Hunslet Hall Road every Wednesday at 8pm until around 10pm, and visitors are always welcome to share our fellowship and our music making,
